| The Blue Pig Tavern at Congress Hall is a delightful new entry into the varied eating establishments of Cape May. It is located in the newly renovated Congress Hall. After $25 million was spent to resurrect the biggest building on the beach, Congress Hall opened in June of 2002. The Blue Pig Tavern not only serves the guests of Congress Hall but it is also open to the public. Meals are served in either of their two indoor dining rooms or out on the patio. Breakfasts are served from 7:30 and you have many choices including The Congressional (short stack of flapjacks, 2 eggs and choice of bacon or sausage), Blue Eggs and Ham (you just have to see the list of choices here), or lighter fare. The coffee is hot and the service is quietly attentive. Lunches are served daily from noon and include soups and salads or entire entrees. You just might have to try their many sandwiches such as the Congress Hall Cristo or the Classic Italian Panini. |
