Four lovely dining rooms with crisp white table cloths and crystal are suitable for a romantic dinner for two or a feast with family and friends. The restaurant has a very upscale nautical theme featuring beautiful framed prints of tall ships and authentically detailed models of ships.

Kurt and Cecelia Axelsson have been serving superb food at the Blue Claw Restaurant for 26 years. This is a family business and the Axelsson's look forward to welcoming you.

Clipper Ship Pub is a recreation of a European pub that features a wonderful cherry wood bar. The room is lit with brass lamps that give off an inviting warm glow. The pub has an interesting collection of nautical memorabilia on display. The tables near the bar are reserved for light fare and cocktails.

There are two working fireplaces, one in the Clipper Ship Pub and the other in the Tall Ship rooms. These are lit with wood fires off season and are a welcome addition to your dining experience.

Keri's Garden is an outside porch area enclosed in canvas where every seat is a window seat.

George Karavan at the baby grand is featured in the Main Dining Room on Friday and Saturday nights. No matter where you sit in the restaurant, you will be able to hear the delightful piano serenade .

There is plenty of on site parking with a parking director who also opens the door and ushers you in with a smile. A great way to begin your dining experience.

Axelsson's Blue Claw is a serious seafood house that offers the freshest seafood cooked to perfection and served with great style in a lovely setting. But remember, that you can always order steaks, chicken or vegetarian dishes to suit.

Axelsson's serves both hot and cold appetizers. You can order Smorgasbord Sampler, Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, Oysters Supreme, or their specialty Prussian Pearls which are oysters on the half shell with pepper vodka, sour cream, red onions and caviar.

Their signature entrée is Fisherman's Kettle (red or white) which has an assortment of seafood served over fresh pasta with garlic bread and presented in a copper pot. Another favorite is Fresh Chilean Sea Bass in Papillotte which is served in a parchment with a tomato fondue hollandaise. All of the dinners come with a house salad.

If you are clever, you will save room for dessert and order the Strawberries au Poivre in summer or their special fall dessert Bananas Foster. You can order a variety of special coffees, cappuccino or tea to end your meal in style.
