Fresco's, which has been voted Best of the Best by NJ Monthly Readers' Poll for the last five years, is a short stroll from the bustle of the mall, down historic Bank Street. Dine in an 1880 Victorian summer cottage that has been decorated to look like an small restaurant in Italy. The food is outstanding and the atmosphere delightful. Dine in one of the small, dining rooms or outside on the candlelit porch.

From the seafoods and homemade pastas of the South to elegant sauces and veal of the North, Fresco's is an opportunity to taste Italian-Mediterranean food as it is served in Italy today. Fresco's is consistently rated the finest Italian restaurant in Southern New Jersey, everyone who visits this restaurant returns.

Dinner should begin with Fresco's famous garlic bread - said to be the best in town. Appetizers include Gamberi e Capellini Neri which is charred Mediterranean shrimp on black Angelhair pasta with roasted red pepper sauce, and Grigliato di Verdura which is grilled eggplant, zuchini and yellow squash with red pepper, onion and pignoli Confit. Entrees include Pappardelle di Pescatore or shrimp and scallops in a champagne lobster cream sauce; Spaghetti Omuntiacata or sauteed spaghetti with proscuitto, peas, garlic, breadcrumbs, pine nuts and red pepper flakes and Gamberi Scampi which has shrimp sauteed with plum tomatoes, garlic and lemon juice on a bed of spinach. All of the dishes have wonderful sauces, creative and delicious combinations of tastes. Don't forget to save room for dessert - their pastry chef is quite talented and you will tempted to indulge.
