Henry's on the Beach is the place to go for good food and a million dollar view at the same time. You won't be disappointed if you stop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner or even all three during the course of the day. Their menu offers many kid favorites, the food is prepared fresh and served in a timely fashion. While waiting you have the opportunity to taste Henry's "soon to be famous homemade biscuits" which are worth writing home about.
Henry's is owned by Teresa and Ed Henry who have another restaurant across the street, Zoe's. They studied what people wanted in a restaurant and they really got it right. They specialize in serving freshly prepared seafood at affordable prices and they do it for a large number of happy customers - visitors and locals alike.
Lunch and dinner offerings overlap with lots of choices of "baskets." You can have crunchy fish, shrimp, scallops, clam strips, oysters or chicken fingers served breaded and lightly fried in peanut oil with a side of cole slaw and crispy fries. Their Maryland Crab soup and New England Clam Chowder are superb. If you crave crabcakes, theirs are among the best. Be sure to check out their daily specials.
If you want a table for ten - this is the place for you. Don't forget to bring your own beer or wine as they do not have a liquor license. Handicap access is easy as it is right on the promenade. Henry's on the Beach is a favorite destination for locals and visitors alike - in season there may be a wait but the ocean views and the great food make any wait worthwhile.
Don't think that Henry's only serves seafood, they have a varied menu that includes: entree salads big enough for two, grilled chicken dishes and their most popular "Henry's fish sandwich." Everyone can find favorites on Henry's menu.
In the mornings, you can eat your breakfast and look for dolphins swimming by - it is not unusual to see a pod making its way east. You can come back later in the day to see them heading back west in the evenings. Speaking of breakfasts, Henry's serves eggs, pancakes, omelettes, waffles, cereal, toast, pastry, french toast, sides of bacon or sausage and their own special Breakfast Bakes, a casserole dish with an egg base.
