Appetizers include Clams Casino, Petite Deviled Crab Cakes and Cajun Fried Oysters. The Merion Inn is famous for its traditional regional seafood specialities such as Crab Imperial and Stuffed Lobster. If you want steak, this is the place to go. You can get tournedos, sirloin, or filet mignon and your preparation choices are straight up, blackened, au poivre, roquefort or imperial topped with Merion crab imperial (the hands down favorite).

The Merion Inn early bird specials include basket of breads, garden salad or soup, choice of selected entrees and specials and dessert but you must be seated by 5:30 pm. It is one of the best deals in town. George Mesterhazy entertains nightly on the piano starting at 5:30 pm. He knows jazz standards, broadway favorites and many special request tunes. In good weather, you can dine outdoors on their patio. There is plenty of on-site parking. There are smoking and no smoking areas in the restaurant. The dining rooms are handicap accessible but the restrooms are not. Reservations are recommended.
